Find a Golden Keycard & Open a Mercenary Vault! (Mercenaries of Fortune Event Challenges)
In this video we’re going to take a look at how to complete the challenge in the Mercenaries of Fortunes event where you need to open a mercenary vault.
But before we jump into it, please remember to leave a like on the video and consider subscribing to the channel with notifications on if you’re new to keep up to date with my other call of duty related videos.
At first for this challenge I thought you needed to find and open a vault on Fortunes Keep but that’s not the case, this challenge is actually for the new vaults that have been added onto caldera with season 4.
The locations of these vaults are marked on the map with these golden circles and when you zoom right in on the mini map it shows a little vault icon or maybe it’s the icon for the fast travel but regardless this shows you where the entrance to the vault is.
Before you head there tho you need to find a golden keycard in order to unlock it, It’s a bit annoying but the only way to find these cards are by opening loot crates around the map.
If you want to increase your chances of finding one of these you could head to one of the high value loot zones. On your tac map these high value points of interest are marked in orange.
Once you’ve found and picked up a keycard you just need to head to any of the vaults and then interact with one of the locked doors. Inside of the vault are heaps of loot crates which will give you bulk cash, weapons and killstreaks..
You can only use your keycard once, So if you want to go to another bunker again after the first one you’ll need to loot around for another golden keycard.
I’m not sure if it was just bugged for me or not but the event challenge shows that you need to
Open up 3 of these vaults but my challenge completed itself after only doing this one time, So this might be the case for you as well.
