Vargo-S Unlock Challenge for Vanguard & Warzone! (Close Range Kills in Vanguard Warzone)

In this quick video we’re going to take an early look at the unlock challenge for the new Vargo-S Assault rifle in Warzone & Vanguard

So obviously this morning the Vanguard update for Season 4 reloaded has gone live but unfortunately none of the reloaded content is available to use yet apart from in custom games you can try out the new multiplayer map called desolation.

This means that the vargo assault rifle isn’t going to be available to unlock until tomorrow morning at 9am PST when the Warzone Update goes live

Thankfully tho sledgehammer games have put out their patch notes this morning which kind of lets us know what the unlock challenge is going to be but i get the feeling it might be abit to good to be true.

According to the patch notes the challenge for Multiplayer and then in turn Warzone is simply to get 15 Close Range Kills, There’s no mention of needing to complete the challenge in separate games or anything like which i kind of find a little bit odd but as we’re coming towards the end of the games life cycle they might have just chucked us a bone here and made this challenge super easy.

In Vanguards Multiplayer to get a close range kill you basically just need to kill someone who is less than 10 meters or so away from you. Like previous challenges this one doesn’t mention anything about needing to use an assault rifle so you’ll be able to use either an SMG or Shotgun which will be great for those close up kills

Jumping into a playlist like shiphaus 24/7 should allow you to get 15 close up kills and unlock the vargo in one game.

On the other hand in Warzone to get a close range kill you’ll need to get a Point Blank, So you basically need to get right up in the face of your enemies and barrel stuff them.

You could just jump into regular plunder to get this done, Use bounties and UAVs to track down players and maybe use the dead silence field upgrade to try and get up close to them or you could just down them with whatever weapon you want from abit further away and then finish them off with a point blank kill.

Regardless you’ll know you’ve done it right and are close enough when you see point blank pop up on your screen after getting the kill.
