5Where to find the Laboratory Key, its location, and how to get it for the That Which Remains quest are all covered in this Avowed video. I’ll take you to Scaedclef in the Shatterscarp region, southeast of the Sulfur Mines Basecamp, where I worked on this side quest after discovering the burned-down house. I started by heading right from the house, up a small slope, where I found a locked residence guarded by a few Ash Blights. After defeating them, I searched the area and picked up the Research House Key, which was lying beside a note on a table near the entrance. I used the Research House Key to enter the locked residence, explored inside, and found the Well Key on a desk, which also serves as the Laboratory Key to unlock the grotto door leading to the laboratory in Scaedclef Grotto. This step is crucial for progressing the That Which Remains quest, allowing you to access the grotto and continue the investigation into the Dreamscourge-affected survivors.
