Fire Emblem 5, Thracia 776. Chapter 5: "Mother and Daughter"
0This is one of the chapters, which differs quite a lot but besides that the great difficulty it has.
The problem of this chapter is the following: Nanna and Eyvel are inside the arena, Nanna by himself can't take a hit from the enemy. Therefore, you have to use Eyvel to shield him from being attacked, but this is another problem.
As I said before, here it differs a lot due to the RNG (Critical, Miss Heal, etc). Eyvel can withstand a critical from an enemy, but a second attack will kill him. If you kill an enemy in the arena, or cross a certain line on the map, Mareeta will appear but as an enemy. And if you kill 2 or more units, they will replace other much stronger units with "Killer" weapons, even with the scroll equipped they can kill you in one round due to their high speed and attack.
STRATEGY:
The strategy for Nanna and Eyvel is to simply run to the door. Putting Nanna against the door and Eyvel in front of it to shield him, this way Nanna can't be attacked. But even that, you can still die.
And on the other side, you have to try to open the door as fast as possible. The more turns you spend, the more likely you are to lose Eyvel and Nanna. For that you have to use a character that has stamina and of course a lot of movement.
Your best strategy is to use Leif, carrying Light Brand, Flame Sword, Scroll and an important item that will help you a lot without the help of the Thief, and that is the Door Key.The Door Key allows you to open the door to the arena, without the Thiefs.
Here Leif, you have to be all the time moving to the door with the Light Brand or Flame Sword for those enemies that attack you to kill them in the counterattack. The rest of your team, on the move trying to kill the enemies that Leif leaves behind.
If Leif can't get to the door, but you can put him in Support range with Eyvel put him, to increase his Critical Avoid or Dodge by 10 which reduces the critical chance of the enemy, but notice that Eyvel will increase the critical hit chance more, that means he can kill him with a critical hit to the enemy.
If you kill 1 or you have crossed a certain line of the field Mareeta will appear, but if you kill 2 or more enemies will appear stronger. And here, you decide whether to put him in Support range or not, depending on the circumstances.
When the door opens, Eyvel is turned to stone and Mareeta leaves the map. Here, the worst is over. NOW you can kill the enemies in the arena, without respawning new enemies.
The rest is simple, just try to look at the enemies' weapons and go slow and safe. Some of them have Meteor tome, you decide if you want to hold those 5 charges so it won't be a problem to advance or run quickly to him and capture him.
