Chapter 8 opens on a very sad note. The fight must continue even with our losses, and Ike is willing to see that it does. Before we cut up more baddies however, we have some new toys to play with!

The base is open, which means we can finally use the convoy to store extra items, purchase new things at the shops, and interact more with our allies and other supporting characters.

I forgot to explain one other thing about Supports. Any support pairings that are within three spaces of each other during combat will gain some bonuses to stats (Attack, Hit, Accuracy, and Avoid) depending on their elemental affinity. For example, Earth greatly increases Avoid, while Fire increases Attack and Hit.
