Part 68a of my Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance let’s play | Friends ‘til the End

In this episode we play through the base of the Endgame of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Repatriation. We FINALLY get to read Zihark and Muarim’s A Support, and for fun I read all of Ike and Elincia’s supports as well. We then read the info conversations, all of which are called “Friend” and deal with our laguz allies. In one, Mist forgives Nasir for stealing her medallion. In another, Ike plans for the upcoming battle with Tibarn and Naesala. In the final one, Giffca arrives from Gallia to lead the beast tribe forces. Then we manage items for the last time, which includes buying a lot of new equipment and forging the most powerful lance in existence, the JammaSlammah! Finally, we dump the rest of our Bonus Experience on Mist and call it a day.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Fire Emblem 9/FE9) is a tactical RPG developed by Intelligent Systems (a division of Nintendo) for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005. It is the ninth entry in the Fire Emblem series, a beloved Tactical RPG series known for its engaging gameplay, interesting characters, and support conversations. Common themes in the game are racism, the circumstances of one’s birth, and the consequences of war. Path of Radiance is one of the most sought after and expensive GameCube games, and so not many Fire Emblem fans have been able to experience it. So I want to share this game with the world!

Path of Radiance tells the story of Ike, a young Mercenary who lives in the Kingdom of Crimea. When the neighboring nation of Daein invades Crimea, Ike and his mercenary company are forced to evacuate Crimea. When they encounter the lost princess of Crimea, Elincia, their lives change forever. What ensues is a journey of reclaiming their homeland, and confronting a deadly evil.
