Here comes the first chapter where you fight monsters. Those usually have lower stats than human opponents so maps against them mostly are on the easier side and this one is no exception. The enemies are laughably weak even on hard mode !

Vanessa goes to the southern village to kill some enemies there and recruit Lute. Garcia stays near the starting point to deal with the reinforcements there while everyone else goes to the east and southeast to deal with the enemies there.

I could send Seth into all those enemies and destroy them but I want to give Artur some nice experience so he'll get some kills, deal good chip damage to others and finish the boss off. However unlike in normal mode he can't oneround those enemies at base stats. He'll also need some healing though so Moulder gets some nice healing in.

New units :

Artur : Artur is another important unit imo. He's quite frail but uses magic to deal decent damage from a distance. He's not very impressive until he promotes. He can either promote as a sage or a bishop but the bishop outclasses the sage hard in this game. He'll gain some light weapon rank and C-rank staves as well for free and the bishop also comes with the Slayer skill (tripled weapon might against monsters and those are pretty common).

Lute : Lute is worse than Artur in almost every way imo. She's got similar stats but her constitution is way lower so even the basic Fire tome slows her (at least she's easier to rescue). The only thing she has for her is that she can gain a mount as a promotion but she arrives as a level 1 mage and Artur basically got his name carved into the first guiding ring while the next one comes a bit too late for her imo.
