It is time to do a paralogue that is exclusive to this route, and it is Hubert's paralogue. Hubert is investigating the origins of Those Who Slither in the Dark, and then Lord Arundel tells Hubert about the Demonic Beasts are being experimented on by the mages said to work for Arundel, so Byleth and Hubert enter the Sealed Forest to try and stop the Demonic Beasts.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I do the first Crimson Flower exclusive paralogue out of the two, this one is Darkness Beneath the Earth, which is Hubert's paralogue. This paralogue takes place in the Sealed Forest, and there are a bunch of Demonic Beasts, and we have to help out some Mysterious Mages which are said to work for Lord Arundel.
All of the Mysterious Mages are Dark Bishops, they have Resonant Flames, which can help in breaking the barriers of the Demonic Beasts, and your units will be split in three groups, I recommend having some Archers to defeat the Winged Demonic Beasts, and have units that have a weapon advantage against some Demonic Beasts.
The chest contains a Seraph Robe, which permanently boosts maximum HP by 5, it might not be easy to get to, as you will mainly be saving the Mages from the Demonic Beasts. The Demonic Beasts usually go for the Mages, so I recommend having one of your units use a Gambit to distract them, because you need to have saved at least half of the Dark Bishops in order to get the best reward.
When you have completed this paralogue, it doesn't seem too difficult, but you might need some healers with Physic to heal the Mages. When at least half of them are saved, you get the Arrow of Indra, which is a magical lance that was crafted using ancient technology, it does require Arcane Crystals to repair, much like the Levin Sword and Bolt Axe. The Arrow of Indra is a good weapon to equip to Hubert, specially if you make him a Dark Knight, which I do want to try and do before the end of this route, I did promote him to Cavalier to try and work on his Riding skill so that he can get to Dark Knight quicker.
This is the only route where the Arrow of Indra can be put to good use, you can technically get it on Verdant Wind, but it is obtained on the final map of that route, while on this route, you can use in in the next few battles.
I did put Jeritza into Wyvern Rider, and I might put him into Wyvern Lord if I can get his Axe and Flying ranks high enough. I do remember the late game maps on Crimson Flower are very unforgiving to cavalry units, so flying units tend to do much better, I won't give away too much about them, so I could see why most players tend to go into Wyvern Rider with Jeritza, his unique Death Knight class isn't bad, you should try and master it to get Counterattack, which can be very good against some long ranged attacks.
Lord Arundel's dialogue if different if either all Mysterious Mages survived or at least one was saved. At least we get one appearance of Arundel on this route, and even though Hubert does describe Arundel as the leader of Those Who Slither in the Dark, he doesn't directly ever reference the fact that he is actually Thales, he just says he leads the Mysterious Mages.
