We have stopped the bandits at the Red Canyon, and Byleth is given her next task from Rhea, there was a rebellion against the church, and the leader is Lord Lonato, Ashe's adoptive father. A member of the Knights of Seiros named Catherine is our guide for this mission, and she wields a very powerful Hero's Relic.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Byleth is given her next task from Rhea, and she learns about a minor lord from Faerghus named Lonato has raised a rebellion against the Church of Seiros, he is Ashe's adoptive father, and our guide for this mission is Catherine.
Starting from Chapter 3, Sothis will appear in the Personal Quarters, and there is a Shifty Merchant outside, which is supposed to be a reference to the Cindered Shadows DLC story, and if you have the DLC, you can recruit Anna starting from this chapter, and she cannot support with any unit. Speaking of the DLC, there is a side story called Cindered Shadows, and from what I have read, completing it gives you four new units, and there are some exclusive classes, like Trickster, War Cleric, War Monk, Dark Flyer, and Valkyrie, and I have heard that Dark Flyer is great for some magic units.
Next is sidequests, talk to Jeritza and accept his quest, that will unlock the Battalion Guild, and it is at the Marketplace and you can buy Battalions there. There are some Battalions exclusive to certain routes, so on the Golden Deer route, you can buy Battalions associated with the Leicester Alliance, and your Battalions do carry over in New Game +, so as I did the Blue Lions route, I could equip some Battalions from my previous playthrough onto my units. I will list some exceptions, flying units, like Pegasus Knights and Wyvern Riders can only equip Battalions that contain flying units, and equipping Battalions is based on your unit's Authority level.
There are some optional quests for this chapter, and Jeralt has one of them, you have to find the Wooden Flask, which is a lost item, and return it to him, and that will unlock lost items. For sites, I use GameFAQs, Serenes Forest, and RPGSite for info on different things, like lost items and other things. One site I found is called FEdatamine, which has every dialogue choice and data on everything in this game, but do note that it contains spoilers on every route if you use the search box for certain words.
Next is Manuela's quest, and that unlocks Faculty Training, that does use up an Activity Point, and this is where you can train Byleth's skills, and Byleth does have a Hidden Talent in Faith, and this can be used if you want to recruit students from other houses, and one of few ways for Byleth to gain skill experience in Flying, Riding, or Heavy Armor. When playing as female Byleth, she can become a Pegasus Rider if you use Faculty Training to gain skill experience in Flying, so you can use Faculty Training to improve on some of Byleth's skill levels. Starting from Chapter 3, you can ask for Mission Assistance, so you can ask a student from a different house to take part in battles until the end of the month, and this can be good in the first few months.
The next quest is Words of Wisdom, Mercedes is the one that gives you that quest, and that unlocks the Advice Box, the counselor is at the Cathedral, and some people will have a question for you, and if you answer correctly, you gain support points with that person.
This is the first chapter where Byleth can enter each student's room, except for Bernadetta, as she is always in her room. Throughout the Monastery, you can find glowing blue things which can give you Professor Level experience, one is in Dedue's room, and another is in Linhardt's room, and there are some that are lost items.
Here is a list of which characters have lost items for this chapter:
Edelgard (Black Eagles only), Dimitri (Blue Lions only), Claude (Golden Deer only), Caspar, Annette, Raphael, Leonie, Hanneman, Rhea, Jeralt

For units that have different dialogue depending on which house you are in or if you recruited them, most of the Blue Lions, like Ashe, Ingrid, and Annette have different quotes, but for units in other houses, Ferdinand, Petra, Dorothea, and Lysithea are ones with different quotes, and depending on Byleth's gender, Hilda and Seteth have different quotes if you talk to them.
