1This months mission is rather unique, as it features an optional boss units you can fight. To say that the Death Knight is a difficult boss is a severe understatement, he has high stats which mean he deals a lot of damage, can attack twice against any of your units and has a alarmingly high crit chance that will mean any head on attack is likely suicide.
And if that wasn't bad enough, he also has an ability that allows him to counter attack from any distance. But it is possible to take him down.
You need to make good use of battalion gambits in order to deal damage to him without risk of counter attack, but it is not going to deal a lot of damage because of YET ANOTHER ability he possesses which reduces the damage he takes from battalions. If some of your units have high sword skills, they may receive the windsweep combat art which allows them to attack without counter attack.
Thankfully, he won't attack you if you leave him alone so if you just want to finish the battle without casualties, just focus on the other units and stay away from his attack range, 25 turns is more than enough time to finish the battle so no need to rush.
On this part: We meet a lazy henchmen, get a cool plot sword and learn we share the blood of a evil villain which lets us use said sword.
