First Impression Review - Indie Retro Platformer - Spinch
I'll be sharing my first impressions on an indie retro platforming video game called Spinch
Brief Overview
If you're a fan of the precision platforming genre take a look at Spinch on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Apple. Spinch delivers on common platformer tropes and stands out with its eccentric art style by Jesse Jacobs. Your main objective through every level is to save your litter from the bizarre oddities that plague the world. Every level delivers on a whacky experience with a steady learning curve of overcoming obstacles. Each world has a giant boss that stands out with their exuberant design and the only method of damaging them is using your litter cannon!
Personal Opinion On Spinch
I enjoyed the tight controls and eccentric art style Spinch delivers. As a new entry to the platforming genre, I would say it's solid but with only 1 gripe that I have and it's the boss fights. I wish they switched up the way of damaging them instead of using a cannon to shoot your litter. Other than that I enjoyed Spinch and would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of indie games and precision platforming games.
Special Thanks to Queen Bee Games and Akupara Games for the Steam Key.
