First Look at System76’s Rust-Based Desktop Environment | Exploring New Pop!_OS COSMIC Panel
Seriously, this makes me very excited. After a few months of development, System76 has finally released how its new Pop OS COSMIC desktop, especially the panel and applet will look like.

I've always been a big fan of desktop applets and indicators. While GNOME unify all of them into one menu in the top-right corner, System76 clearly split them into individual menu.
It seems that they want to give users choices by making it customizable e.g refine position (move left or right) just like Xfce, MATE, and KDE Plasma. Something that we don't get "out of the box" in GNOME Shell.
