Most of Linux distributions are preinstalled with Firefox. It's nice web browser and considered as a better choice for privacy. But, if you are a fan of Google Chrome, no one won't force you to ditch Chrome and move to another e.g Microsoft Edge, Vivaldi, Brave, Opera, and so on.

We can install this Google world's most popular web browser via Terminal by running the magic of CLI. Unfortunately, command line is not for everyone, especially for new comers that switched from Windows to Linux.

UPDATE CHROME ON LINUX
The good thing about Google Chrome is that it adds a repository in your sources.list after installation is completed. That means the application will be updated along with the system updates provided by package manager.

Anyway, you should keep in mind that Google Chrome is not available for 32-bit operating systems, so please make sure that you are using a 64-bit operating system. And one more thing, you need to have an active internet connection.

Consider subscribing to get latest how to install, configure, tips, use Linux and Free Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS), or if you like what you see. Thanks for watching and being here!.
