I did it! After about 20 tries, I finally killed the improved Cranky Kong! I gotta say though, it's more luck than anything. It happened many times that Cranky just uses his Super Nova twice in a row, making it impossible to revive if he attacks first.

My tactic was: Just try to keep the Phoenix / Lollipop effect active on everyone, at all times. I bought a few attack and MP upgrades because Freddy's "Tophat Toss" can do incredible damage, while not costing much. The rest is really just trying to keep everyone safe.
