Fix Minecraft menu not working when pressing A Button on Xbox Series X/S Console
Unplug third-party accessory such as a keyboard, mouse, or headset, unplug these accessories and then perform a power cycle before trying to launch the game again, keep the accessories unplugged.
Disconnecting wireless adapter of headphones fixed the issue for many players, if you have a headset that takes an external bluetooth usb then it takes it as a controller but if you unplug that and your controller, you’ll get the controller disconnected prompt and then plug your controller back in and it should work
