1) Firstly, simply restart your phone and see if the fingerprint sensor responds
2) Second try to reset and add a new fingerprint
3) Check for your phone's software updates
4) If there is even a minor update available, go ahead and update the application first
5) Check for any dust or cracks on the surface of your screen.
6) Remove any tempered protected glass. Clean the screen and try it again.
