Fix Update & Installation Issues when downloading or Installing Games From Steam
Step 1) Make sure there is enough hard drive space
Step 2) Restart your PC
Step 3) Disable your antivirus program/Windows Security while downloading the game
Step 4) Clear Download Cache
Navigate to your Steam/ Settings / Downloads / Clear Download Cache
Step 5) Repair Library Folder
Navigate to your Steam / Settings / Downloads / Steam Library Folders / Right click on folder / Repair Folder
Step 6) Move Game Folder
If available install the game on another hard drive or SSD
Steam / Settings / Downloads / Steam Library Folders / Add new SteamLibrary folder on this drive
Step 7) Perform Windows update
Step 8) Verify the game files
Step 9) switch to a different download region
Steam / Settings / Downloads / Download Region. You may need to test several regions other than your own.
Step 11) Uninstall the game, delete all the remaining game folder, restart your PC and reinstall the game
Step 12) Reinstall Steam
