Steps to Fix Risk of Rain 2 Low FPS and FPS Lock Issue on PC

Step 1) Laptop users with dual graphics card- run Risk of Rain 2 on dedicated graphics card
Step 2) Select High Performance in Graphics settings
Step 3) Right click the desktop / Display Settings / Advanced Display Settings (towards the bottom) /Display adapter properties /Click on the Monitor tab / Drop down menu and set that to your actual screens refresh rate
Step 4) Try running Risk of Rain 2 in Windows 8 compatibility mode
Step 5) Perform Clean Boot
Step 6) In case of multi monitor setup disconnect the monitor, disconnect the low FPS monitor
Step 7) Close all the overlay (Discord, GeForce Experience etc.) and overclocking apps (MSI Afterburner, Riva Tuner etc.)
Step 8) Run Risk of Rain 2 in Windowed and Borderless mode and turn off vsync
