This tutorial is about how to fix secure boot is not allowed if the system is in legacy boot mode.


In my desktop it shows secure boot is not supported.


This 2023 released solution also works on windows 11,windows 8 and win 7 based platforms.


But this issue only occurs on dell platforms,so other user's like asus,acer,lenovo and hp don't try this method.

Today i get the following one error notification while i try to enable the secure boot in my windows 10 pc :

How to solve secure boot is not allowed if legacy option roms are enabled :


1.One of my subscriber ask to me,why it shows this kind of message and what is the meaning of this issue?.

2.This is only occurs on secure boot option is disabled.

3.So anyway if you like to fix this issue,just goto "General" category.

4.And click on "Advanced Boot Options".

5.Here you can tick to disable "Enable Legacy Option ROMs" and "Enable Attempt Legacy Boot".

6.Once you disable it and goto "Secure Boot Enable".

7.Now this time you can select "Enabled",and click to save this changes.

8.Finally one time restart your windows pc or laptop.

9.Once the restarting is completed,and then try to check it if this secure boot is enabled or not.
