A few weeks ago, I bought a second hand Tape Deck, sold "for parts or non functioning", mostly because it seemed like the kind of thing I could fix, and it was in decent external condition, all that for a fraction of the price they normally sell for.

Armed with the service manual and a replacement set of belts, I managed to get it running again - mostly -.

I'm still stuck with one remaining spring that I had no idea where it goes, and there are occasional "crunch" noises.

It's getting there :)
