Note: This is a 2019 Steem SSE + OBS Studio capture, I've left the original 2015 video taken on the monochrome monitor - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlpP7JVImGA - because that should be used as a reference about what it is supposed to look like.
The reason for this Steam capture, is that there's been some other capture made using Hatari, which unfortunately as of today does not support color changes in monochrome, which results in the big vertical scroller being missing and the vertical rasters are on white background instead of black. (You can see that here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahjYceQGjKM)
Not that Steem is perfect either, there are a bunch of glitches in the splits that are not visible on the real hardware, and what should have been nice flicker-free grays are kind of a flickering mess, but that's not as bad. So there you go.

A Monochrome STe intro for the "Commodore 128 revisited" compo at STNICCC2015
This demo is for STe or MegaSTe computers with at least one megabyte of ram, and an Atari SM124 monochrome screen.
It was my entry to the Commodore 128 revisited competition at the ST New International Christmas Coding Convention 2015 in Gouda (Netherland), and got the 1st place in the category.
Since the emulators were not correctly emulating the entire set of monochrome features, I made a video directly from the screen, and overlaid the recorded audio track (also from the machine) over the original sound of the video (the monitor output was way too weak).
Hopefully at some point it should run on all emulators :)
Hope you like it
