flashLight add faux lighting with Movie Studio Vegas , using "Dark Map"

as you can see , the image is NOT in total darkness . so it looks like there really is a light source , in a darkened room .

manually ( i did ) , or use Bump Map FX ( Spot light ) , or use Spherical Gradient , or use cookie cutter. The problem with Bump Map and Sphere Gradient is , the XY keyframes are unique to those plugins , thus i used Track Motion with Pan\Crop to "Move" the light .
using cookie cutter will keep all other areas FULL black .
as you can see , the full image is always visible ,
not total darkness .

i tried to get the best contrast possible .


having the light "Track" the game cursor was easy .
Also , i moved the light Independent of the
game cursor , in part 4 .

part 1 , shows a still image being lit .
add multiply lights if needed .
change the color of the light if needed .

actually , the "Spot LIght" selection in the Bump Map FX Effect
does the best , but the Shape of the light is limted and the keyframes are only available in that FX Effect dialogue .
