Following Your Heart
1You won't regret doing things that bring joy into your life - even if they don't necessarily make sense in terms of cost or measurable value.
I was thinking about this because I spent $150 on Genshin Impact's Gacha System to get a character I really wanted. It seems wasteful, but the reality is that I enjoyed that more than a lot of other things I could have spent the money on. For me, it felt worth it.
If you always follow a rigid rule book you'll box yourself in and feel like a slave. But if you just ask yourself the honest question of what you truly desire, and then you open your heart to that, you'll find you can usually find time and money for the things you love, because you also won't be obligated to keep pursuing things that you don't care about.
We should always strive to stay optimistic and have a child-like sense of open-mindedness. In the end of all things, few people will regret genuinely following their heart.
