Just a N&F Series Concept

Story to Concept: They were a bunch of monsters in the city. The Squad were no match for them. After hiding for an hour. Maya then says that she knows what she has to do. Which confused WildMan, Alex and Noni. Maya gets out her sword. And she sadly says to the others "If I don't make it back, promise me that you'll always remember me." They were shocked. Alex and Noni tried to stop her, but she tells that she has to do this since she's responsible for the monsters evading their world. She then runs off. Noni began to tear up. Alex's face shadows. WildMan was upset that Maya is sacrificing herself, but he couldn't stop her.

[So, Maya let out every monster by accident. She accidently leads on a button that sets them free in their laboratory. That's the explanation.]
