Forgotten Capcom Classics - Demon's Crest Gameplay SNES | CDPOG
I Warship Satin? Demons are the good guys! We check out Demon's Crest for the SNES in this gameplay video. Not content to sit around trying to kill Arthur in Super Ghouls and Ghosts, the demon Firebrand decided he wanted his own game, and not wanting to anger Lord Satan the nerds at Capcom gave it to him.
Yes, Demons Crest (Demon's Blazon in Japan) is a spinoff title from Ghost's N Goblins. Unlock Ghosts and Goblins, Demons Crest is not a straight up action game, it is closer to an Action RPG with items to collect, secrets to find, mini games to play, and basic RPG elements. The game is also much more vertical, since Firebrand can fly, while Sir Arthur, can't. Theres a big difference right there.
In Demons Crest, Firebrand can find different Crests that change both his character model, and his power set. These powers both have applications for killing the bad guys, as well as level progression - some forms can fly, some can only walk, etc.
It is shocking how few people have heard about this game, let only played it. It truly is a Forgotten Classic.
