'Fortnite' Challenge Guide: Where To Dance On Top Of A Giant Metal Dog Head
28It's a three-stage dance challenge for Fortnite's Season 7, Week 9 challenges. The first stage asked us to dance on top of a sundial, the second stage asked us to dance on an oversized cup of coffee, and for the final challenge, we're asked to find a giant metal dog head. The qualifier "giant" is a bit of a confusing thing in the world of Fortnite, because the scale can be at times a bit flexible. But the idea of a metal dog certainly calls to mind a junkyard, and wouldn't you know it? That's exactly where we're going. Read on for a guide, map and location of where to dance on top of a giant metal dog head.

The giant metal dog head is by Junk Junction, tucked up there in the Northwestern corner of the map. It's not always the most popular location in this game, but it's bound to see considerably more action this week for a couple of reasons. Here's where you're going:

Take note! The giant metal animal on the hill behind Junk Junction is not, in fact, the giant metal dog head. That's a llama, which you can tell by its long neck and the fact that llamas are everywhere in this game. The dog we're looking for is on the sign out front, by the southern entrance. Here's what you're looking for:

This one is actually a little bit tricky for such a straightforward action: there aren't a lot of great places to land on this thing, and there's only room for a few people on it. I chose to stand on the nose, which has just enough space for one person to dance. You can also get on top of its head, but expect to be pickaxed in a jiffy.
Junk Junction is going to be hot right now, because it's also the location for an elimination challenge. So expect to be blasted off of this dog head more or less the second you land on it, but so long as you managed to get a few dance moves off, it should be fine.
