[FOUNDRY] Update 2 pt27 - Expanding Assembly Lines (Farmer Bots)
Last of the lot (I'm either not making Combat drones/robots or making them in a completely separate enclosed AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY area for Immersion Points(tm))
Probably gonna be resolving unforeseen bottlenecks as always. Also really wanna just dismantle all my on-planet Polymer production because it makes far more sense to import Polymer directly than import Olumite to convert to Polymer which is roughly 5x as much shipping
Post-stream: whew, it's finished and like any semi-large project in an automation game I'm amazed it actually works lol - there's probably some buffered throughput issues that aren't manifesting till some buffer or another runs out but for most part the actual mechanical part of it works.
Gonna take a break from this game for a while (CoI calls) but I'm not done with this run yet. My FPS is still above 30 which means there's leeway this time to do a bunch of cosmetic stuff (yay)
In terms of functionality I do also want to start replacing more and more of the imports with tapping local resources and manufacturing stuff on the ground. I think a 'sensible' approach might be to bump research to 128SP/min (doubling current) and research Pumpjack Efficiency up to like lv60 or so before popping open a bunch of Olumite veins like uncorking fine wine, lol. That way it'll last a good while longer.
31 million daily Firmarlite, no mods/save editing, standard resources. 101h on the save file. But, of course, importing is completely broken and I've tapped one vein total so far.
