Frankenstein: The Monster Returns (NES) No Death
19Its spooky season and that brings out the monsters. And there's no other monster quite like Frankenstein's monster. Well, here's his headlining show as he's the baddest-bad of all bads and he's back to make a statement. In fact, just call him Frankenstein, because that's what the game does (don't @ me). He stole a girl and as we know by now that is the ultimate mistake for these types of villains.
This is a very short game here with 4 levels only but packed with multiple boss and mini boss fights. Hitboxes are weird both for and against. You only get 3 lives total before the game sends you back to the title screen. Luckily, they give you passwords for the beginning of each level which will maintain your status exactly for how you entered the level. There's a pain in the ass rope jumping part near the end that requires some patience. And Franks finally form is no picnic as well.
