FrankenStorm TD: Demo Alpha
4I first took a look at the this roguelite mazing tower defense game by way of a prologue back in late 2021 and it showed a lot of promise. Fast forward to May 2023 and Doodad games have released an Alpha demo which everyone can play now by requesting access here -https://store.steampowered.com/app/1857390/FrankenStorm_TD/
What's changed in last 18 months i hear you cry, well the graphics have had an overhaul and they are more detailed for sure, and the maps now include obstacles but apart from that there's not wholesale changes.
The Alpha has 3 maps to play on and they are ok but i find the screen very cluttered, maybe there's a button to click to remove all the pathing graphics but as there's zero options right now that option among everything else remains missing.
Bottom line i actually did enjoy the game, the 3 maps on the video were my first runs warts and all (yes i didn't do great) but it was fun, so i look forward to the development over the coming months. What do you think?
