No Creeps Were Harmed TD - Can it challenge Defense Grid - the GOAT?
3No Creeps Were Harmed TD is not the most evocative of game titles but it's definitely got something about it.
For a long time now nothing has been able to get near Defense Grid (not even the sequel) for atmosphere, mazing, and true tower defense fun however after playing the demo this one could, i say could be a contender.
The controls are a bit funky but you soon get used to it and the mazing is on point. If i did have one complaint, ok maybe 2 it's the towers are not different enough and the colouring that changes as you upgrade them not distinct enough. I would also like to hear more grunt from the towers audio when firing, even when you turn the music down the tower fire sounds don't really come through.
Bottom line is after playing the 3 maps from the demo i was hungry for more and there's not long to wait with release set for Q3.
Also Minmax games have made some great titles previously with Golftopia a hidden gem on steam so all the signs are good IMO.
