This is a followup to the original video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKlIAkWQhPo since I had learned that a Fraps bug in version 3.5.8 forced lossless capture regardless of setting used.

As of 3.5.9 the problem is fixed and a regular hard drive, given sufficient CPU and GPU power, should be able to hold 60 FPS capturing rate in most games.
