So you want to capture WoW or any other game using Fraps for that matter. How much performance do you need? Here's a relatively fast video showing different resolutions and capture rates.

Vsync is purposely disabled so better showcase framerate impact.

Video is left natively without expanding to frame to show resolution changes. Neither will fill the viewing area entirely without fullscreen since neither video is in 16 to 9 ratio.

**Keep in mind if you are capturing a game that utilizes a 32-bit client, your filesizes will be cut in half**. Thus it is possible to do high-def content at 60FPS with a high performance HDD. Only once you to move to 64-bit is where disk performance really matters.**
