Game Review & Impressions
---------------------------------------------------
Interstellar playboy Freddy Hardest has crash-landed on an alien world. If he has any hopes of getting back to his champagne lifestyle and hot tub, he needs to find a way off this forsaken rock he now finds himself on.

As with so many Dinamic games, Freddy Hardest is split into two parts. The first is a very typical side-ways scrolling platform game with limited combat and shooting, which concludes when you find a hatch which allows entrance to a strange facility below the planet's surface.

In part two, Freddy must navigate the labyrinthine corridors of an alien launch base, activating computer consoles to prep a shuttle that will take him home. There are four sets of terminals, each representing a different colour - once you've activated all terminals from the same colour, you can use the corresponding launch code at the main base terminal to blast off.

Freddy Hardest isn't the best game Dinamic would ever create, but I don't think it's as bad as the review scores of the time made out. It's well presented, and the second half of the game is where the real meat is, whereas part 1 is unforgettable fluff.
