This is the twenty-ninth mission of the Blackwater Operations campaign for Freespace 2. We occupy the role of Commander Aidan Mallory, freshly assigned to command the 101st Blackwater Squadron, Special Operations Command. We are moving to recapture 2nd Fleet HQ in Beta Aquilae. This is a covert operation; flying captured SCF Gefion fighters, we are to escort a transport of SOC Marines led by none other than Commander Snipes of "DIVE, DIVE, DIVE!" fame as they board the station and take control of the planetary defense beams, which we will use to destroy the nearby warships. Unfortunately the mission is bugged so we can't advance past this point without intervention from the mod maintainers. I'm working on that now.
