Freespace 2: ETAK - Idle Distractions
2This is the first mission of the fifth part of the Lightning Marshal campaign anthology for Freespace 2, ETAK. The Actium, fresh off of its infiltration assignment, is assigned to Deneb while the main GTVA force masses to attack Neo-Terran Front positions in Alpha Centauri. Our task is to investigate Admiral Bosch's mysterious ETAK project. In this mission we are striking at a rebel supply depot orbiting Deneb VI. We are to destroy any freighters and fighters in the area and then scan the cargo for any sign of anything related to the project. Allied freighters are standing by should we discover anything worth salvaging.
Unlike most other content in this series, this is a blind first play. I never played this campaign when I first picked up Freespace years ago.
