Freespace 2: The Scroll of Atankharzim - Arachnicide
7This is the seventh mission of the GVTA branch of the Scroll of Atankharzim campaign for Freespace 2. With the Arachnas' main beam turrets knocked out, it is time for the final assault. Our squadron is assigned as the vanguard, going in with Maxim cannons and Trebuchet missiles to knock out the beam cannons of the station's cruiser screen. The longer we wait the more Shivans will arrive, so we only have two minutes to take out as much as we can before the fleet will jump in and start the main attack. Once the main fleet arrives, our tasking changes to escort duty for the destroyers.
