This is the sixth mission of the Imperial Special Forces branch of the Scroll of Atankharzim campaign for Freespace 2. Having chosen to accept assignment with the special forces of the Vasudan Imperium, we are assigned to a small GVTI task force infiltrating deep behind Shivan lines. The Shivans are massing an armada and have an uncharted back door into GVTA space that we can't warn Command about with our communications relay destroyed by the Shivans. Therefore we must take action ourselves. A strike against the Shivan armada is our only remaining option, but a direct assault would be worse than useless. To that end, we are using the Shivans' predictable responses to attacks against them in an effort to capture a wing of Shivan bombers to use in sneaking past the armada's fighter screen and attack their capital ships directly. We are attacking a Shivan cargo depot with our task force's cruisers, which should draw out bombers in response. The GTCv Himnoltep will not be committed unless necessary, as its presence would likely draw a Shivan capital ship response instead. Gamma wing is standing by to disable any Shivan bombers that respond to our attack.
