You can now play as the GVF Ptah, the Vasudan Stealth Fighter. If you choose this one, you will get a unique event, or an event chain of five events, to be more precise.

The Ptah is a glass cannon. Super vulnerable, no means of repairing, only armed with an Akheton SDG for short-range subsystem removal and Trebuchets (3+1) for long-range surgical strikes. Thanks to the Stealth ability of the Ptah, you are untargetable by Beam Turrets - which does not mean you are invulnerable to beams. Not at all. Chances are one beam will zap you to death. It's best to stay out of the firing lines of capital ships. The Ptah can however change the pace of the game quickly by disabling the beam guns on the stationary defenses (Medea, Valerie, Snipes and Atreus as well as the three cruisers), meaning the Kamikaze transports have an easier time to reach the Atreus and deal massive damage.

To compensate for the general lack of brute firepower, the Hammer of Light will send you the Light's Bane, a ship that will launch five Hit&Run strikes over the first half of the match, getting stronger every time it shows up while staying on the battlefield when it jumps in the fifth time. Sharing the same stealth technology as your Ptah, the Tevs won't be able to beam-target her until they manage to get through the ECM bombardement. That will take some time, and during that time, the Light's Bane will deal huge amounts of damage to anything getting close to it.
