This is the ninth mission of the Silent Threat Reborn fan campaign for the Freespace Port. The Shivans have been driven back to Ross 128, the site of their first attack on Terran space, and the combined GTA and PVE fleets have assembled in Delta Serpentis for a final grand offensive. Pursuant to GTI's objective of providing intelligence concerning the GTA's enemies, the GTD Krios' wings are on continuous rotation performing recon-in-force to determine the nature of the Shivan forces arrayed against us. Our squadron is bound for the vicinity of the wreck of Outpost Riviera, the first Terran station destroyed by the Lucifer.

As you can see from my concurrent playthrough of the original Silent Threat, the Freespace Port team wasn't given a whole lot to work with for this remake. I am doing the original campaign and this remake side by side since they depict the same events (in different ways).
