This is the tenth mission of the Silent Threat expansion for Descent: Freespace. The command structure of Galactic Terran Intelligence has been declared traitors now that their conspiracy has come to light. Now reassigned to the GTD Soyakaze, we are going to the Ross 128 system, where the rogue GTI has been sifting through the wreckage left by the initial Shivan attack for reasons unknown. The system is currently held by the Shivans. Our mission is to scan the wreckage of Outpost Riviera to ascertain why GTI is interested in it.

As you can see from my concurrent playthrough of Silent Threat Reborn, this original expansion didn't give the Freespace Port developers didn't a whole lot to work with for their remake. I am doing the remake side by side with the original campaign since they depict the same events (in different ways).
