Ever wanted Freya do be surrounded by women that are gratuitously into her? Well, now you can! :P

This is a simple model swap mod that puts Freya over Cloud (and over Sonon in the Intermission Episode). It also changes the Buster Sword to Freya's Javelin.

While there isn't anything of interest in particular beyond that, I figured that with how cinematic this game can be, it could lead to some funny or cool moments if Freya is placed over Cloud, so I recorded hours upon hours of gameplay (back in December 2022 - I really procrastinated on this!), and edited this video to show of some of the more entertaining parts, as well as some gameplay here and there.

Installing the mod is simple. Simply right-click the game in your Steam library (switch to Desktop Mode to do this on Steam Deck), click "Manage", and then "Browse Local Files". This will bring the game up in your file explorer. From there, follow the folders to this location:

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE\End\Content\Paks

Create a folder called "~mods" in the Paks folder.

Then place the files for both the Cloud model swap and the Sonon model swap in the ~mods folder.

With that, you are ready to take Freya on an adventure through Midgar! She's still going to have a masculine voice though...

This is mostly just a silly fun mod, so there are some broken animations and such on occasion. Freya's proportions also don't align perfectly with Cloud and Sonon at all times so you will have oddities like her holding objects a bit awkwardly.
