FROGGER Cartridge! Testing This Cartridge On A Commodore 128 in 64 Mode - Joystick - Episode 1397
16I have lots to do to get the various 64's working, but for the moment, I am content to try out Frogger on this C128 in 64 mode with a Wico joystick that came with this collection...My game play is...well, not the best...maybe it would be better if the monitor was better in front of me, or if I used the EPYX 500XJ...or maybe I have never been great at Frogger and 4 decades as not changed any of that...

I was a bit baffled earlier when trying out this 64 and disk drive combination with the cartridge from RetroRewind.CA, because on one of the tests, I think it was the speed test, the disk drive did not spin, and I pondered that there might be a 6526 issue going on...well, I try to play Q-BERT! off of a cartridge, and it started up, but would not go into the game...so, I set about trying to isolate the issue by using a Commodore 128 that was a garage fresh find! Interesting are the results!
