I have a small fan...and it started to screw up...it goes on and goes off...so I suspect it is dying on the way to death...but I have a fan that is sort of like it...one is a desk model, the other a floor model that has had some issues...it works fine, but something is not right...there has to be something missing, but I, to date have not been able to figure it out...so, the little fan is toast, and I will carefully take it apart and figure this out...and of course, I will recycle all the parts as bast I can...I hardly ever put things in the garbage...unless it is garbage...and I will save the extra tiny screws and other bits...just in case I need them...fans shake, rattle and sometimes, things come loose and fall out...so, into a ziplock bag it will all go...and with the best intentions, I will set them aside, forget where they are and any of it is ever needed, I will not be able to find the bag...and I will curse...sigh...onward!
