How To Copy A Entire Disk With Copy/All By Jim Butterfield & Two 1541 Disk Drives C64 - Episode 1393
There is nothing fast about the 1541 and the Commodore 64...but slowly, it does work...using just programs on the TEST/DEMO disk from commodore...here is how to copy an entire disk of programs and other files from one 1541 to another 1541...one will be switched to device 9, one will be left as device 8...but worry not, the video shows all of this and how to make it happen...as I have said before...it is not a quite thing to copy a disk this way...best to set it up, and walk away...maybe set a timer for about an hour...and then come back to see what is what...copying a disk like this, does have a way of defragmenting one that has a lot of head moving because things have been written and erased and written, etc, etc, etc...and if there are any bad files, the will not copy and then at least you know if you are having an issue...no harm in trying to copy the bad file again later...or if it is a program, to load it in and then save it...anyway, here is a marathon session...sit back...put your feet up and enjoy...there is much conversation, lots of stories...and even some jokes along the way...
