This land is pretty intimidating. Lots of lava and water.

Get the men moving toward the nearest totem. Make a rock wall to stop the lava flow in front of the Repel Fire stone. When you see earth appear around the first village, remove the dirt from the village's west side. Removing the earth will delay or avoid the village catching fire.

With Repel Lava delivered to the village, make a second wall to stop the lava flowing to the right of the village. Pickup some more lava, go to the upper-right or north-east portion of the map to plug the geyser spouting water at the bottom of a lake.

Try moving you village to near the stone of Repel Water. If lava has cooled around the second/central totem, try claiming it.

While the men are working on getting two villages up and running, use a drop of lava to detonate the explosive trees perched near the waterlogged third totem on the far right/east. Water will spill out. If there is still too much water near the totem after blowing up the wall, use earth to elevate ground level around and underneath the totem. Send men to claim it.

Now one totem left. It's to the left/west. Also to the west, there is the ancient passage. Don't claim the last totem yet.

Move a village that has Repel Water to near the ancient passage. Depending on the villager's A.I, you just need to make some earth bridges between plateaus, or you need to redirect the lava flow in the west portion of the map.

If the men try to a direct route when moving the village, just build a rock wall(s) to redirect the lava flow out of their way.

When the village is built near the ancient passage, claim the last totem.

With the last totem claimed, new rivers will appear and volcanic activity will stop. It should be easy to get 100% vegetation with no more volcano trouble.

Remember to get the memory stone in the north-central portion of the map, and leave the land when you're ready.
