Frozen Summer Level 81 requires triggering twenty-nine (29) Ice Blasts with a target score of 40,000 points in 50 moves. We chose Olaf as our Companion but as usual, we do not use any Power Ups.
Four Ice Blasts are in the Middle two Columns, in the first and sixth Rows. Heavy Snow surround the Lower Ice Blasts with Blank Tiles Below them. Four Freezer Tiles lie on the last Row.
Make each Move count - that is, try to hit more than one Ice Blast at a time. Our First Move nailed four Ice Blasts (2 on the initial Hit, and two when the Vertical Windchill Activated). Another example is at 2:42.
Park Charms next to Ice Blasts where they can make damage during a Snow Growth (the Snow added after an Ice Blast Triggers). When Hit by Snow, Charms with Activate.
Avoid/delay opening up the Gateway Tiles that will release the Freezer Tiles to the Playing Area. Since most of the time will be used to Dig through Snow to get to the Crystals and make room for Charm making, fighting expanding Freezer Tiles is a waste of Moves. Triggering one of the Lower Ice Blasts will Close the "Door".
No Green, Cyan Crystals in this Level, so Combination/Charm making is easier than usual.
Game Hilites:
- At 0:31, On our First Move, we Triggered four Ice Blasts.
- At 2:14, Activated a Windchill, which Started a Chain Combo/Charms that ended up Triggering 4 Ice Blasts.
- At 3:31, While Crystals are Falling, we Kissed two Icebergs which Triggered 7 Ice Blasts (10 to 3).
- At 4:19, Final Kill, after Kissing an Iceberg with a Windchill.
We completed the Level with nine (9) moves remaining and a Final Score of 173,650, obtaining Excellent status.
