There's three missions to complete in this chapter. "The Library" has you clearing out the area, with three of your units against five. It goes dark after a few turns. You don't need to have all units survive for gold rank but keeping the machine gunner alive and active was key to my success. In "Disrupt the Siege" I got my shotgunners in fast to try and pin down the lower enemy units and used the ranged units to deal with the guys in the middle. For "Fighting in the Square" I used the rocket launcher to take out the sniper on the bottom left whilst methodically closing in on and wiping out the other units. The grenade launcher unit comes in handy, at the end I use it to force that sniper to run from his dug in position right into the path of my shotgunner.
