A new Mod has appeared on the Nexusmods library that allows replacing NVIDIA's DLSS with AMD's FSR 2.0, in order to make the game smoother with non-RTX GPUs. Although still in development, the results are already promising since it multiplies frame rates up to 2x on GPUs like the GTX 1060 or RX 570 and better.
Since the mechanisms of DLSS and FSR 2.0 are very similar, then the two are interchangeable by replacing the NVIDIA DLSS .dll file with a custom file, which allows the implementation of FSR 2.0 instead of DLSS. The Mod does not provide any additional option in the game settings, you just have to activate the DLSS option in the game settings to activate the FSR 2.0.
This method should work with all games that support DLSS with a few simple adjustments to the .dll file. Keep in mind that some features of FSR 2.0 are not yet implemented by this Mod, but it's still a bit better than FSR 1.0. Moreover, it also works with Steam Deck and Linux, which makes gaming on the handheld much smoother.
