Full CS:GO / VALORANT Comparison (Alpha Playtest)
10,265I'm an ex-Global Elite and level 10 on Faceit. Here's a comparison between the game I've played since it came out 2012, and a new FPS title by RIOT which seems very promising.
The Closed Beta starts April 7, 2020 @ 6:00 AM PT/15:00 CEST and is only going to be open to players in Europe, Canada, Russia, Turkey, and the United States to start.

Any idea if it will have 4:3 resolutions? Yes, stretched is possible as well
Where i can download this game? A: If invited to the Closed Beta it's possible from Riots Client
Music at 12:12? A: It's the trailer music from VALORANT's opening release video
Is there voice coms in game? A: Yes check the video
Can you hear enemy players' gun changing sounds? A: 90% Sure you cannot
Does the game have config? A: Not that I'm aware of
Will we have zoom sens for each scope? A: I could only change the overall zoom sens
What do you think of the 30 second buytime? A: Could be a little bit shorter but it's good overall
My csgo runs 60fps all low setting, will Valorant run better? A: I don't think so
How is it gonna be with rank system in this game? A: From what I can gather like Overwatch
If its 1v1 then CT can see the bomb plant location in the map? A: No, you need intel from team
What do you think about the character voice lines? A: Can be annoying but you can disable them
So it is like if overwatch & CS had a baby? A: It's 80% CSGO 19% Overwatch & 1% VALORANT
You think the BunnyHop is more easy to do in Valorant? A: Not sure, probably about the same
Is it going to be on Steam? A: No idea
Is there team killing? A: Yes
What about the system requirements? A: Don't know them but they will be higher than CS:GO
Can we import CS:GO mouse sensitivity? A: We could. CS:GO Sens / 3.18181818
Can you bind some controls? A: Yes. I have mwheelup to jump just like CS:GO for bhops
Can two players on a team pick the same agent? A: Depends on the rules they will set
Can the characters be unlocked without paying? A: Yes
Does it play like tf2 + csgo? A: No more like 20% Overwatch + 80% CS:GO.
Does it have a good or any bot system? A: No bots apart from practice map bots
Do you think abilities are hard to memorize/incorporate for each and every 'agent'? A: No
So are you going to backstab CS:GO for some copied cartoon? A: No
Does scoping in with the sniper make a sound? A: I'm not sure but I wanted to know this myself
Are the so called valorant points hard to earn? A: Don't know, we were given 50K for test
Have you found bugs that can be abused like the olofboost on CS:GO? A: Not a single one
Which is more fun to play? A: Both are fun in their own ways
Can we setup the game to have the same FOV A: No. It is fixed on 103.
Do the map gimmicks overpower the fundamental gunplay? A: It just adds more depth to it
Will they create something like a hammer editor to create maps? A: Big No
