About
---------------------------------------------------------
"Soviet Connection" is the theme song and introductory music for Grand Theft Auto IV.
It is composed by Michael Hunter, who also composed the theme song for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The full music is available on The Theme Song Collection album, making it one of several Grand Theft Auto themes to be officially released, including "Theme from Vice City", "Theme from San Andreas" "I Keep on Walking" and "Welcome to Los Santos".
One of the potential jingles on GTA IV's version of the Mr. Tasty uses the melody of the song.
It is also used as the "Liberty City" horn in Grand Theft Auto Online, which was added as part of the GTA Online: Lowriders update.
Turbo Boost, a song in the arcade game series, Race and Chase, is based on this song.
Grand Theft Auto IV - The Theme Song Collection is an album consisting of theme songs from Grand Theft Auto IV and its episodes.
The album was released on April 13, 2010, the same day the North American release of Episodes from Liberty City was made available on PC.
